I think my psp is gone for good... Anyway i can make it work again?

Well one of my friends had my psp for awhile and he tried to make pandora and i guess he failed/messed up something in the process.

So now whenever we turn on the PSP, it shows us that PANDORA MENU of downgrading/upgrading to a Firmware. I think it was because the battery was Pandorized and Memory stick had the pandora file...I even tried to use the same PANDORA to reformat my PSP to a new firmware, but it didnt help.

So what i tried to do was remove all the files from the memory stick... and now i dont even see anything! The Green light just turns on for some seconds and then the PSP gets shut down.

Now i am stuct and dont know how to fix this... Any idea on what i can do to fix it?

Thanks alot, help appreciated.

It sounds like it's bricked.
You need a pandora battery and magic memory stick or despertar cementerio to unbrick it. If you can't make them the you should check on craigslist and see if there's a modder in your area offering the service.

XBOX Halo Ed. = DuoX2 w/250gb HD
Xbox 360 Red Elite 120GB HDD = no-stealth 1.6 & XBReboot V3 & 1TB usb hdd
PS2 Slim = freemcboot v1.8 - PSP Black Slim = 5.00m33-6
Wii = w/ Blue XCM ii-case, Wiikey2 & softmodded

sounds like he made your battery a pandora battery ... you can't use a PSP regularly with such a battery.

i would try a different battery ... perhaps from a friend or buy one...

I'm assuming it's a brick because it should power on with the charger but the op hasn't really made it clear about that. So does it work like normal with the charge plugged in or do you still get the black screen?

I tried my friend's battery and it still did the same thing... like it turns on the green light for a few seconds and then it shuts off...

So is there something wrong with the motherboard?

sounds like he was trying to install CFW or something and messed it up...

really you should have a conversation with him to find out exactly what he was doing before it went haywire...

Well he doesnt know much and messed up.. but that doesnt matter now as its already messed up now.

Now, we have to decide on how i can get this fixed.

So my problem is that PSP doesnt turn on, the green light turns on for a few seconds and then it gets shut off. I tried with a different battery and it was the same thing.

Now,

Is my motherboard messed up?

Can i fix this?

I have a memory card reader and a memory stick... can i do something to it?

Thanks.
