Does the D2sun work on D2B cut pin?

I found out that i gotta do ground some of D2B chips
to connect 3 wires.
but It's not easy stuffs.

So i found the D2Sun (w/ wii clip) which works on D2B cup pin also.
Just solder the D2Sun on clip and push on the chip. Right?

one more question.
the D2sun doesn't connect on pin 7,8,9 of D2B.
Is it the way it should be?
