wii backup loader problems

i have looked at many guides and read on forums and i have not yet found this problem other than on my wii lol

i installed the cios wad but it dosnt seem to stay installed after i installed and followed all other steps i just got a green screen after booting by backup disk i tryed to uninstall wad and it says it was not installed and this keeps happening. i installed ios249 with dvdx and it stays fine i patched my iso and it recognizes the disk and what game it is but when it loads after that my freezes with a green screen. i have tryed uninstalling/installing the cios with wad manager and specific installer and uninstallers.

i'm not sure what to the problem might be any help is appreciated

Are you hooked up to your TV with High def cables? Have you set your wii to 480p?

yes it is connected with componet cable and is set to 480p i have since got a few other discs to load so i think the first disk i used is jsut a bad burn or something was wrong with the iso i created

The homebrew backup loader is a piece of shit.

Directions:
Take out of wrapper and place directly in toilet.

the ones i got to work i patched the iso with the packaged tool and then burned the new iso with imgburn

i did the same with the ones that did not work so i am not sure why they did not work i also changed the setting with dvdx and ths cios wad aswell my process has been the same for all but some work and others dont

Interesting, using the loader I can load a game but it freezes in about 5sec after it loads. Is there a way to fix this?

I had a problem like this when I was using DVD-R discs. I switched over to DVD+R and haven't had a problem yet. A few freezes/slowdowns during movies, but generally speaking this softmod option is kicking some serious ass.
