Bit setting a HL-DT-ST DVD RAM GH10L SCSI CdRom

I seem to be unable to bit set the above drive. Any hints or tips would be welcome? I have burned 5 coasters now and this is the only thing I have been unable to do after following the instructions on here. Thanks

You can't bitset that drive. Just make sure you have the layerbreak set to 1913760 and use Verbatim DVD+R DL dics and burn at 2.4 or 4x

Ive got the layerbreak set on cdclone and have burned it using both that and image burn with no success. According too Mulleter it should be fine. I get the disc unreadable or dirty message after the game has loaded up and ya get past the title screen etc. Very frustrating to be so near to finally getting it to work and yet so far away from it working

99% of the time when you get it to boot then it gives you the unreadable disc message, you're using crap for media. What kind of discs are you using? Verbatims made in Singapore are the best.
