If no games work, sounds like your lens has gone for a crap. Have you tried any movies?

Hey, is this just the only game that doesn't work or will your console still play other games too?

ok i had this problem happen with one game i just recently bought online off ebay. Soul Calibur 4. i put the game in and it sees it as a dvd and says to put it in a xbox 360. when i looked close at the game disc i noticed it says PAL . The case says NTSC but on the disc it says PAL .. WHAT LUCK!! the info on ebay said NTSC also.. so maybe they had a packaging mistake.. so if your buying your video games online be carefull. North America needs NTSC to play, PAL is for Europe.. FYI..

I'll make it simple and sweet, your drive is toast. I went through the SAME exact problems with a sammy 360, which are known to be more prone to this wear and tear of the laser. It's pretty much the laser gone bad. You'll either need to get another 360 drive and spoof it, or get another laser of the same drive or return it to Microsoft and let them repair it (fee may be aplicable if you're out of warranty, unless you tell them it RROD and they'll fix the whole unti for free).

I would buy a new drive from www.llama.com
Just change the keys.
With laser changing you have to adjust and its a pain

It could also be your drive board. Just got in a Hitachi that had the same problem, it would play dvd's and say unrecognized disk for all games. Switched the board and all is well.
Also, lasers are lasers. A BenQ laser works in a Hitachi/Samsung/Lite-on.. ect..
