Hi,
I have a modded Japanese Wii bought last winter from China. I don't know what chip was used but would like to know so I can update the firmware if available.

I've taken a look inside as instructed by some of the experts here. It seems different than the ones I saw on the internet. The chip is places just sitting in the middle instead of onto the motherboard.

Thanks for all your help. How can I attach a picture of the modchip on here?
