78fk not spinning up in windows

hi all i have a 78fk with that stupid self ejecting problem. i got it in mode b and it shows in windows and the ejecting stops when in mode b, but i put a disk in and it does not spin up so cant get a dump to clone onto another drive! anyone had this issue before. thanks

i had this issue with a 47dj, had to stop using retail games as the disc and use a disc from season 4 of sienfield i believe. also had to make sure i didnt exit out of the 'menu' crap for the movie that pops up as soon as you put the dvd into the drive. i just minimized/moved it to my second monitor and went on with the flashing and all was fine.
