Hi, i was looking through the threads for the answer to my problem but cant seem to find it anywhere, my problem is that i successfully flashed the drive but the second last step in the tutorial i used said "enjoy your new console" so i thought i was done and turned off my console. after that i read that to take the console out of mode b i had to power it off twice with tray open or something, now the console appears to be stuck in mode b, even though its not mode b. and when i turn it off the disc tray opens. any help or abuse will make me feel better!

abuse huh??? lol...i wont be that mean. but try putting it back into mode b via slax or whatever you used, and then try getting it out of mode b like you should have done, lol.

next time read the instructions all the way through before you start and it wont happen, haha, theres some abuse for ya.

thanks i needed that bit of abuse, feel better now! yeah i got a bit excited when i got to that stage, lesson learned! i used the slax with a via sata 6241l card or whatever its called cant get it back into slax on my pc. its very picky but ill keep at it cause i know im not the only person having trouble getting slax to work. thanks for the reply
