Wii Backups - SD Method Help

I recently tried to backup my Wii games using the SD method. I've formated my SD card correctly and I'm using the WiiKey config 1.2 disk to dump files to my SD card.

After a chunk is completed, I take the SD card from my Wii to PC and attempt to take the info from my SD card to my PC. I type 'dumptool (drive letter) -sd' and it begins to dump to my PC until I get this message:

"dumping chunk 0 to diskimage.iso
dumping...cannot read drive!"

I get a iso file but its only about 50,000 KB. Any advice to fix whatever I'm doing wrong?

Try using an external sd card reader on a windows xp computer. I was having the same issue on my Vista laptop with the built in SD slot. They sell a usb sd card reader on ebay for about $3 or you can get one at Walmart for $9.

hello..here's a guide for both the wifi dump and the SD dump..hope it helps..if you have wifi(wireless router) in your home..the wifi way would prolly be the easiest as it goes directly to your comp..
