I am fairly new to the whole modding / backup world. However I have been lurking on these forums for about a week.

I am however looking for places to go and get my modchips and swapdisks though.

What sites do you think are the best to go though to buy such things for both USA customers and overseas customers.

Please list all that you use. I have a friend overseas that is looking for this kind of info to.

So far consolesource looks good.

I went with modchipcentral.com for my d2pro and paid them to solder the chip to a wiiclip. i received the clip today, and it appears that they only soldered 1/2 of the points they were supposed to. not to mention the clip is off-center a tad, which will make it difficult for me to finish up the work i paid them to do...

I'm disappointed with what i received.

if this chip does in fact work ok, then i would recommend modchipcentral.com. the prices are competitive, and they did deliver. Took 5 days though... shipping from canada to the US.

Good to hear that everything seems to be ok. Good luck with the rest of the install and keep me posted if you can.

If anybody can please tell me a good list of reputible companies that are commonly used. I could always do a search but I really want to go though a recommended company other than the first one I find on google.

i also bought a wiikey presoldered for 55 dollars and took over 2 weeks to deliver. The wiikey didn't work and i took pics of my install and showed friends and modders, nothing was wrong. I also tried games that worked on my friends, and it didn't work. if you're looking for a service or chip, i should tell you about dubsoutlet his name is joe and he is a friendly guy, u can IM him at dubsoutlet. Installed the chip last night. Went in without any trouble. works like a charm! I do recommend modchipcentral.com... despite the moderate time it took to ship the item from canada.

I use modchipcentral all the time and everything works out great. The time it takes from Canada to the USA is because of customs.
