Hi I recently got an xbox 360 from america i have it working perfectly but when i try to connect to xbox live it wont download the update. All the connection settings are ok i have tested it many times but no joy. It asks me to download the update and i select yes and then it goes to the download screen and the bar does not move and then it says update failed. I even tried to download the update from the us xbox website and it ran on my console but still no joy.

Any suggestions please..

if you burnt it onto a cd and it still didnt work, it sounds like you are sol.

Yes i burned it onto a cd and it ran the update but it only updated the console to play xbox 1 games and it didn't go any further as indicated on the website
