Sounds like the ban I got from Real's Rhapsody, when the service got upgraded and the new Real DRM replaced WMADRM, screwing my iPod, my WM compatible devices, and hosing my computer with a bugged app. I was asking for help and spreading the word about the junk product, but alas, it was seen as "trolling" the forums, which was bunk. They lost a customer. Sounds like the same thing EA is doing here. Sounds like they are losing customers.

Yeah, should of seen the flak I got when I complained about my BlackJackII and AT&T's questionable business practices on the AT&T forums.
I didn't get banned, but almost.
Spore?
I tried playing that thing for a couple of weeks. That game sucks hard.
Most boring thing I've ever played.
And I had high hopes because of the hype.

AT&T actually put in their T&C that any negative comments made about the company could/would result in your line being disconnected.

The lies about piracy are the scare tactic used to implement this sort of DRM that was no different to hack than the previous incarnations of SecuROM, its about destroying the second hand market.
Quote:Retailers need to listen to developers' and publishers' complaints over the pre-owned games market, says Relentless Software's Andrew Eades, but admits the industry is partly responsible for creating the problem by selling "rubbish" titles.
"If we're only seeing one slice of the profit then that makes the games more expensive in the first place and the more expensive you sell a game for the more inclined [consumers] are to swap games... improving the rental market for videogames sounds like a really good solution."
Spore is a rental title. Be ready for more bull **** rhetoric like this **** above.
