Hello, it's been a while since i last flash a psp and now i need some help. i just have several questions i hope someone can help me with.
my co-worker has a psp slim with 3.90 original firmware and he asked me if i could put CFW on for him.
i have a pandora battery and a magic memory stick with 3.71m33-4 firmware.
now, if i want to put 3.71m33-4 onto this psp (since i have the magic stick ready), i would just insert the magic stick, insert the pandora battery and installed 3.71 then update to a 3.71m33-4 correct?
if i want to stay with 3.90m33-3, i have to create another magic stick with 3.90m33 on it. there are 2 files with 3.90m33 from larrylje:
1. the 1 STOP GUIDE to 3.5xxxxx
2. the UNIVERSAL UNBRICKER V3
which one is the right one to create the magic stick for turn the 3.90 OFW to 3.90m33-3?
i m hoping to get some answer so i can do his psp on friday at work.
thank you so much for any information.

oh, one more thing.. i dont need to bring the ac adapter along right? i know for creating a pandora battery, you need the ac adapter, but in flashing the firmware, you just need the fully charge pandora battery and the magic stick right?

Thank you mrgooey...
well.. i've downloaded the 2nd one. Universal unbricker. using window vista .. i was able to make a magic stick ( prior to reading your respond). however, i dont know if it's working or not. i did try it on a phat psp (with 3.71m33-4) to see what the files looks like.
when i put the magic stick in the psp and the inserted the pandora battery, this comes up..
xxxx (dont remembered)
xxxx (dont remembered)
xxxx (dont remembered)
press X to installed 3.71m33
press O to installed 3.71
press "triangle" for xxxxx
press "square" for xxxxx
so, my question is..for a 3.90 OFW... which one do i chose?
the "x" or "o"...??
after the initial install of 3.7xx .. then i can upgrade to 3.80mm and then upgrade again to 3.90m33-3..??

sorry for all these questions. just want to make sure before i do it. it's not my psp.. dont want to break it. just want to help a co-worker out.

thank you..
