I know the latest twilight hack still works but I cannot get Zelda Twilight to load on my wii. When I attempt to load it nothing shows up in the wii menu.

I have modded several wii's and so have tested this damn backup ISO for Zelda on several wii's, one at 3.2u, one at 3.1u and then on mine at 3.3u and the damn game will not load. Best I could do was on the 3.2u and lower I installed homebrew and used gecko OS and gecko region free, both would attempt to load the game but go to a black screen.

On my main wii, I realized too late and before I got into modding this thing I had updated it to 3.3u. Now homebrew DVD wont load and I cannot load Zelda. I do not want to buy Zelda just so I can install homebrew. Is there no other option?

Anyone know how to load Zelda on a d2pro v3 SPI 1.6 FPGA 2.3? I can load every other backup ISO I have so far.

Try getting a new ISO backup of it. Make sure it is the USA version and make sure it has no Trucha Sugned patches.

You could also try renting the game if all you want to do is use it to install Homebrew Channel.

I've Wii with d2pro 9 pin, SPI 1.6 FPGA 2.3, my chip is D2C, USA version.

I can run Zelda from the iso backup disk. but, when I start to talk with a man. It seems to work, but it run with infinite loop:
Buffer = ffff <--- look like this..

but I've ever done it on Jap version, D2C, but I don't know the mod chip.

So, the problem of failure for homebrew setup is d2pro 9 pin, SPI 1.6 FPGA 2.3? it's conflict with the old method homebrew installation method?

Help me :)

You need to make sure your using the correct game save to boot Twilight Princess hack. You shouldn't be talking to anyone. All you have to do is load the proper TP hack game save and walk backward (if you have 3.3U then you should be using the USA game save in the list).

Keep in mind TP USA version has 2 different versions of the game. So if your having an issue with the first USA hack try the second USA hack.

I have tried 2 other isos of this game, and the md5 hash for all 3 matched. I was not aware there are other versions of this game for USA NTSC? How do you know if it has Trucha sugned patches? Any chance I could get the MD5 hash from your backup ISO so I can search based on the hash?

Before I can try this hack, I need to get this game to load once, I will keep searching for another ISO.

btw, is this still the most current save game that works? http://hbc.hackmii.com/dist/twilight-hack-v0.1-beta1.zip

For those of you who this games works using d2pro 1.6/2.3 is your wii 3.3u?

I did try this on another wii I hacked with d2pro 1.6/2.3 and it was at 3.2u and the game did the same exact thing, nothing happened in the wii menu, the game just spun up and no icon or nothing, no error or anything. On that 3.2u box since I could install homebrew I ran the wii downgrader and downgraded to 3.1u and same issue.

I am baffled why this won't load.

btw, my Zelda hash matched this persons copy http://www.demonoid.com/files/details/1023845/7683840/

I've use TP USA. I use and ISO copy. So, I don't know which one to use. But, the one when I use is hang, still picture. But I use another one, it run hacking.. but error as I said before. But, for the JAP version I done. it is okay run until end and work.

Today, I've a new try. I use only walk backward. Ok, the second saved is hang, still image, no any program run. But, when I use the first save. it's okay, the hacking program start to run.. but it run fail :D, not infinite loop as I said. The result was below:

.
.
start cluster = ee6b
.
.
.
start cluster = 0b4f
Failed to read boot.elf (-1)!
No code found to load, hanging.

But, this time I didn't use the same SD card. it may caused from my SD card not install boot.elf properly. I will use the old SD card next week (SD card go along with my brother), and try it agin.

I think at this point we are all waiting for an updated homebrew DVD that will install on a 3.3u wii.

The TP hack will still work if you have a TP that will load on your wii. In my case, none of my ISOs are working and I am not going to buy this game or rent it just to install homebrew.

I would not be surprised if they are working on an updated homebrew install that will work from DVD on 3.3u.
