im new to wii as i bought it recently and i would like to know which game is better:

Far Cry: Vengeance or Red Steel

i know that far cry cry is a great game on other consoles but people say that it is not that good on wii so i got double-minded please give me your opinions on which one is better

The wii release of farcry was butchered. It's not even close to the same game as the PC version.

Of course redsteel wasnt that great either, but I'd rate it above farcry.

Far cry sucks!!!!

They took the nintendo ds version and placed it on the wii bad graphics and all why do you think you can purchase the game for 9.99 used..

I would purchase red steel it isn't the greatest nor free from glitches i.e people getting stuck in walls especially bad guys but not a bad game.

Uh... Theres no DS version of far cry... I will agree with you though that the wii version of the game has graphics nearly at the level of the DS.

yes there is a ds version of far cry it wasn't released though on the ds but on the wii because they found out the ds cart. couldn't handle the game.

If it was never released then it means that there is no DS version. Perhaps there was supposed to be a DS version but I cant even find any information about that. Heck, I cant even find a rumor that it was originally going to be a DS game. The only thing I see on the topic is people complaining that the graphics looked like a DS game.

I'm very interested to know where you heard this, because far cry vengence for the wii (scrubbed to remove the padding data) is nearly 2 gigs. Now I'm sure that the ubisoft developers know that the max size for a DS game is only 128mb, and that there was no way they could ever hope to get the game onto a DS cart. So they were either extremely stupid or you read some bad info.

Plus, as bad as the graphics of the game are they are far beyond what the DS could accomplish.
