If I were to install a new OS for my PS3 would I be able to play PC games on my console? (I would have a keyboard of course). Which would be best, Linux or XP? Is Windows even possible on a Sony console? How well would Crysis work on a PS3?

At the present time you can only install linux into your PS3. While you can install an OS in the PS3, you cannot run PC games in it because you cant access the GPU in the PS3...not sure really but yeah Sony planned this to you cant run PC games in the PS3.
