well my friend is buying a new psp slim today i have a phat psp with a cfw on ti and i have been reading about the new slim mother board that you can not install cfw on. What happens if i put pandoras battery and the magic memory stick in it?> will it BRICK it? or will nothing happen? and is there an easy way to see if it is a v3? WITHOUT opening it?

unless you're in asia or nearby to it i doubt you'll get a 88 v3 ...

to see if its an 88 v3 yes you can try using the pandora / MMS no it won't brick it just won't work ...

Look on the side of the box and make sure its not Series 3000.
Or ask the employees there.
