Ideal writing speed for burning wii back ups

Hello, could someone please tell what is the best speed for burning an iso file for the wii console? Logic says the slower the better but i read somewhere that it should be at 4x (using imgburn) any lesser speed does not seem to work as good. Is that true or a speed of 2.4x or 2x would be better. Thanks in advance

Most people I know have had best luck with 4x. I've always burned at 4x and never had any real problems, so I dont tinker with it.

But feel free to burn disks at various speeds and let us know what speed you get the best results at. lol

You will never get everyone to agree.

Some say 2.0/2.4X (which I believe a slow burn is just as bad as a fast burn).

Some say 4X (I burn mine at 4X)

Some say burn at half the rated burn speed.

Some say to burn at the fastest rated burn speed.

Out of all of the above examples I think most burn at 4X or at half the rated burn speed.
