when using dv tool after i have split the file into 2 parts the first part works fine but i keep getting an error" WINMM.DLL "Db will now close when i try to play the second part.the same thing has happend with a couple of movie files that i have tryed to split.Can anybody help.

DV Tool is not a Proper Editor..Al it does is Cut the File without re-writeing the Headers and the Time code so these cut Files are basicly Corrupt after editing...If you want to edit AVI files then Try V-Dub and for Mpeg files the Mpeg2VCR is probably the Best one...Cheers
