NERO 7 Ultimate - Installation Error

After recovering my hard drive to factory settings (had a virus), I have tried clean installs of Nero 7 Ultimate, and get a "shell manager" error.
Tried cleaning/deleting Nero registry files, then reinstalling, same error.
Can someone please help me?

Try ccleaner registry cleaner for both the cleane rand the registry cleaner part also

I already used CCleaner. Still cannot install. Still get registering errors, and shell manager.
Now I see that Movie Maker requires a file called: "advrcntr2.dll" which belongs to Nero.

Someone please help me.

I cannot open NeroStart. It says: Bad installation. Therefore I cannot open the Toolkit.
I've tried repairing/removing. Program stops uninstalling 3/4's of the way through.
I get an error message when trying to install the Nero 8 Trial version that says Nero 6 has been detected on this computer, but when I click OK to remove the older version, it then tells me there was no Nero 6 found!
Thank you for your advice and suggestions, but it has not helped me. Is there something else you could suggest? Oh, and yes, I've tried Add/Remove programs, too. Stops the uninstallation 3/4 of the way through.

Manually delete the Nero folder and run the Nero clean tool.
