when has any dashboard update "automatically" done it? It will prompt you. Same way it does for video game updates.

Yes, thus far they seem to ban people all at one time (hence the term hammer), but we still don't know how, why, or what the process involves.

Wow all of the fun of mii's except the one thing nintendo forgot. 3d orgies with your real life friends. That one character in the picture looks like a hooker.
Personally i think the new features are kind of dumb, maybe they are trying to appeal to a younger market. I would like other features like actually customizing my themes, changing layouts of tab's and fonts and pictures.

it will ask like all the other dashboard updates, but if you decline you'll just be disconnected from live, so the choice is always yours.
you don't have to update, but if you don't you won't be using live, so yeah...theres your answer.
