I just found another New Backup launcher And was wondering if anyone has tried it yet? and if so how would I go about installing it on a totally unmodded wii with 3.1 Firmware?Here is the name of the loader
Backup-Launcher-v0-1-Nuke-s-GeckoOS-with-backup-ISO-launcher
Any Help?

Tried the modchip and after a week the wii key stoped working.Then to top it some of the pads came off, so I just figured i'd wait for a loader by means of softmodding.I havent messed with the wii much but i have modded Sat Irds,other Gaming Consoles,and cell Phones.So If I could get pointed in the right direction That would be nice.
Nevermind I got it figured out.

Did you chip your wii yourself, or get someone to do it? I have had my wiikey for a little over a year and haven't had any issues with it. For now, you're probably better off chipping it honestly

I installed my modchip myself and, honestly, I did a very shitty job. Some of the wires are barely held on by like 1 strand (I used stripped IDE cable wires. Hella DIY lol). But it's worked like a dream.
Modchips will be the easiest and most effective way to play backups.

but you will need to download waninkoko's CIOS rev 5 file, Wad Manager, and DVDX..all of these files can be found at http://www.nes-hacks.com
i installed CIOS, through wad manager..then opened up DVDX..went to advanced install..set it to IOS249..installed it..i installed Gecko OS..placed wiigator's backup launcher wad, in the WAD folder on my SD card..went to wad manager installed it..then opened up my backup ISO..went to the folder with my backup creator .exe file AND common keys file(i safeguard and remove any iso i have in that folder, before i drag and drop my iso file ONTOP of my .exe file..you get the "partition.ISO" file..right click on this file and select "Burn with IMGBURN"..this should open up imgburn with the file preloaded..set your burn speed to 2x's even if your burner only burns at 4x's for the lowest setting..i don't verify mine..cuz it'll either work or not..no point in wasting 30 mins..haha..let it burn..place disc in wii..go to the window icon with the backup loader image(the one with wings)..click on it..leave all options on default..click launch game..should take a min..then brings up a launch screen with all the options(for pal60..etc.)..let it load..another screen may pop saying "no SD codes found"(that's ok)..then should load..if you get a screen with jumbled up letters..then it's a bad burn..should flash a green screen and then load..these launchers take awhile to load also..also what game are you trying out? some games don't work..
NOTE: also use DVD-R's..wii seems to like them better..

I will just wait awhile longer,I dont have the right Hardware for doing the Job.I ant in a hurry anyhow the thing has been sitting for months now with out even being booted up.Then again maybe id play it if all the games were at a discounted price if ya know what I mean.I own prob about 13 Games and only one is alright, one other alright when you have company over, the others are a waist of money.
If I do decide to try again I will either wait till they got the bugs figured out in the soft Mods,Or might go the wii Clip route with a new Chip.I can no longer soder the wires on the Board Because the pads Lifted off.The kids screwed with it, thats what happend to the wii.
So Thanks for the replys anyhow.

Worked Great I did notice that the Guide says install CIOS37_rev3
But in the Wad Manager it's 36 rev 5,But other than that.It was Cake work.I haven't tried a wii game yet I've been having fun with Homebrew Games.But I will Prob try it tonight.Thanks Again.

Ya I did 2 Games today and they Both worked flawlessly.Thanks for the Great Guide.Easy to understand.
