Hello,
I have installed my Yowii chip on a D2B Wii with pins that are not cut. LU3138819**. I believe I have installed it correctly and have checked out the soldering and it seems fine. When I turn on my Wii and put in a normal disc it plays fine. But then I put in a backup disc and it doesn't work. The blue LED light is always on and doesn't flicker. I burn my discs at 4 times speed and use brick blocker even though they are NTSC-U and so is my system I have tried 2 different backup. Any suggestions?

Also, I haven't updated the chip or anything I just soldered it on to the 5 points and plugged it in then reassembled my Wii and plugged it back in. Wii Play was the first game I put in and it is an original.

I put in the Homebrew ISO and it said error take remove disc and turn off system. But when I try to run other burned games it just says unable to read disc and nothing happens.

you need to update your mod chip because it is in sleep mode , updates will trigger it. And if it doesnt work after that you have a new version of the wii which requires a different modchip not the yowii. That is if you have perfectly solder the chip onto the board. You are too brief with your questions and you arent even posting pictures for guys like me to help you.

How do I do the update if it doesn't read the DVD's that I put the update on, can I update via usb or something?
