How do you change a m2ts file to an m2t file?

You could've just Searched, but learning how to use that feature is a growing pain. I understand.

If you're using Windows, open Windows Explorer (opening any folder will do).

Go to Tools-->Folder Options. On the "View" tab, you should see "Hide extension for known file types". Uncheck it. Click "OK" to exit.

Now all you have to do is click on your m2ts file and replace the ".m2ts" with ".m2t".

I'm not sure how to do it on Mac or Linux, but I'm sure it shouldn't be difficult in either case. (At least not any more difficult than with Windows.)
