In my school everybodey comes to me to hack/fix their psp but today someone asked me to fix a bricked psp (he bricked it by turning it off during an update) so I pandoraed it, everything works fine except it wont play umds isos or even homebrew... When you try to run it it just shows the gameboot, waits a while and then just shuts down. I have tried changing the umd mode through the VSH menu, and reinstalling M33 but still nothing. He says it ran umds before he bricked it, it has a gamestop used sticker on the back so its obvious whare it came from... It is a silver slim probably form a daxter pack. So does anyone know how to fix this? I dont have access to it now, he still has it.

Try creating a newer version MMS and reinstalling CFW.
