hey these are probably some stupid questions but im still having trouble. i have watched, read, and did everything on youtube to other sites but nothing works when trying to downgrade to 1.5 let alone put the firmware on. i keep one seeing things about a pandora battery. im not all about buying one or opening up my battery unless it is easy i have no problem. i was just wondering if there is a program to use. i tried pandora installer or something like that but whenever i get something onto the memory card it just says game cannot be read or something. if there any any step by step idiot proof steps that i havent seen any help would be appreciated. thanks again for any help that is given

i followed larrys guide perfectly and yet when it still says to click on something on the actual psp to run something the "game cannot be started" error message. so i guess i have that "lucky" one that cant be converted. i am using Windows vista to if that really does matter but i did follow that guide perfectly.

any more suggestions would be helpful. thanks again in advance

no offense but i seriously... Seriously... SERIOUSLY doubt that.

what did you do at the part of his tutorial where it tells you to insert the pandora battery ?

i didnt do anything because i dont have a pandoras battery. i really dont feel like ripping my battery open and screwing it up and when i tried to use programs like the pandora installer nothing happened.

i run the program and it says it can not run this game. but after i run the easy installer when i check the system information it still says im running version 4.05 and the CFW 3.71 thing never shows up. and like before when i try to run anything from the memory stick it comes up "cant run game" so basically i only got as far as the magic memory stick part of the guide.

and like you said you seriously doubt that it doesnt work, i did read somewhere with the newer psp's the motherboard is different and it prevents it from running the pandora thing and the despertar_cementerio programs.

i know i sound like a complete tool probably but any more help will be appreciated

then please don't say you followed the guide perfectly...

it would be more accurate to say you followed the parts of the guide you felt like following and ignored the rest...

i would never advocate to anyone that they open the battery ... nor do i think you should. but you need a pandora battery ... the magic memory stick is useless without it

well thanks for the patience and the advice but i think im just gonna say screw it because from what other threads have said i think i have that "new" motherboard that sony put it that prevents it from running those programs since i keep on getting that "can not start game" message, so even if i do get a pandora battery it still wont matter i think. so i might just forget about it or take it back and buy an older version. thanks again.
