Just need a confirmation. Playing PAL on NTSC

I just need a quick confirmation. I have an NTSC Wii and just ordered a modchip. If I download a PAL Wii ISO and patch it with WiiBrickBlocker, will it still run fine on my NTSC Wii and TV? Cuz I know PAL uses different video standards. But as long as a patch it to prevent an update and possible brick will it still look and play just like the NTSC version?

I have read the stickies. They don't answer my question though. I'm not asking if it will brick my Wii. I'm asking if there will be any difference in the game if I chose to download a PAL version rather than an NTSC. The reason I ask this is because PAL iso's tend to be more readily available and have more seeders.

This has been asked and answered in previous threads. But since it might have been a while ago I will do a refresher.

Not all imports are region free compatible.

So some will work and some will not.

HERE is a region compatibility list. It list games by regions and tell you if they are region compatible or not.

As well with the advancement in Homebrew there is an application that actually make the compatibility even higher with out of region games.

Gecko OS is a homebrew application that you run via TP hack or Homebrew Channel. In some cases Gecko OS may let some games that are not region compatible via Modchip/Patcher boot and operate properly if booted via Gecko OS (Some games listed on the compatibility list as non-working might be working via Gecko OS).
