I've been pretty quiet on the forums for a while now but I love my Wiikey and figured the Wiikey2 deserved a post. Great news!

[source: wiikey.cn] It is with great pride that we announce the release of Wiikey 2 -- the 5-9 wire Wii Modchip for all known Wii consoles including DMS, D2A, D2B, D2C, D2C-2 and D2E. As one would expect from a Wiikey, the new Wiikey 2 comes with a host of rock solid features including DVD updatability and an excellent configuration/utlity disc, as well as state-of-the-art hardware making this the most stable and raliable Wii mod solution available yet!

its not a d2pro9 with different colors and a wiikey logo, the d2pro9 needed the Jtag for serious updates also there are less wires. the team is really trying to make the best chip, not make money.

The Wiikey and D2Pro both have 5 or 9 wire install. So I don't see how you can claim Wiikey2 usses less wires. Having both DVD and Jtag option to update in my eyes makes the D2Pro9 modchip better.
It is simple.
The Wiikey logo will get them more sales. It has nothing to do with making the Modchip better becuase it isn't better.

The claim that Wiikey2 is better then D2Pro9 isn't a coherent statement either.
If you ask me it was a smart move that they released a Wiikey2. The original Wiikey had so many followers I can't imagine why it took them so long to get Wiikey2 out instead of waisting their time on D2Pro9.

I wasn't the one that said anything about wiikey 2 being better than d2pro9. I knew like you that they were the same company. I just haven't had a reason to upgrade my original wiikey yet. Still don't really.

Well I'm sorry if my grammer is not up to your standard, it's kind of difficult when your typeing on an ipod touch, don't get too upset mate, deep breaths, "you kids" cliché of the year, what a guy.
Even starting this thread about a chip thats actually terible compared to others tells me alot.

I wouldn't say it is a terrible Modchip. It will more then likely do what every other up to date Modchip does.
