I have a fat PSP that my friend put CFW to, but I want to know if I can replace my FAT PSP battery with a SLIM PSP battery and if it will be as simple as just in/out or will i lose my CFW or will my PSP brick ?

A battery will not brick your system or erase the CFW unless it is in the form of a Pandora, which in that case will attempt to load the PSP in recovery mode but will not automatically erase files. I believe the slim PSP battery does work in the fat PSP but it does not fit properly as it is smaller. It will also give you a reduced life than the standard battery due to the decreased capacity of the battery.
