.. images to show alot of line that appear in the screen.
It appear in de picture preview. And its also affect my visual game play as well.
All the while is ok since few month i bought PS3, however this effect appeared.
I try change cable.. HDMI or av. I also tried on different TV (CRT) . its still same.
May i know whats wrong with it and do u hv the solutions?
So you said you hooked it up to another TV, and it's still giving you that? It could be a damaged cable, or maybe even something on the ports on the back of the PS3.
I was going to say it might be a resolution error, like the PS3 is trying to do 1080p, when the Monitor only supports 720p, but it seems more like it's a cable or port issue.
Did you try resetting the diplay settings on the ps3? Go back into display, click -automatic- it will reset to your sets native. I had a similar problem when I would take my ps3 to my buddies house. Not lines, but dots, and when back at my place, no display at all. Each time i would have to reset it.

I did tried various cable as well ... hdmi, component and even av cable.
All the while its work great but it happen few month after tht.
What i suspicious is the GPU was error.
Now i played "Ridge Racer" its even worse. the visual work nicely in interface, but in the game race, it cant even generate the graphic at all.
All was only a cubic graphic.
also, make sure you dont have to many electrical cords, IE power strips, bunched up behind your tv near the video cables, or external surround speakers, or subs to close to the HDMI. These things are known to cause interference with HDMI and component cables, especially on lcd.
