As above,
It says d2C on the chip and also has a serial numberbut it was purchased around march time so may well be dc2c.
I was about about to order a d2cpro chip it says 100% solderless but some sites say its 5/9 wires and a J wire may be needed.

Could someone please point me in the right direction please,
Its a PAL console is that matters and im from England so any good Enlsish sites.

Thanks All,
Sean

No chip is solderless, but some come presoldered to a wii-clip which lets you just clip them to the wii and so are basically solderless.

The 5/9 wire thing is how many wires connect to the main wii board. You dont have to worry about any of that if you're using a clip because the chip replaces those wires.

The J wire is something that you wont always need. To quote from another website "if this chip does not work right away you should un-bridge clock point on the Clip and solder the J wire directly from the chip to the board"
