I tried loading the backup loader multiple times and when it starts to load the elf file, I get this error.
Failed to read boot.elf (-1)!
No Code found to Load, Hanging.

The only real advantage I can see is this would be a cheaper soultion then a Modchip.
All and all if you have the means to get a Modchip then that would be the better option. Compatibility is 100% on games and load times are the same as original game load times.
Is it something that anyone else has experienced? I'm a little worried now please can anyone confirm whether this has happened to anyone and also does this work with all games has i have quite a few games i want to backup because the kids keep scratching them, Please can you Scott909 confirm how it is going with your games whether they do work properly? Thanks for any help, hopefully i'll be trying out the process soon when i receive the game.

So far, i have found ZERO, thats NONE, thats 00000000 problems with ALL my burnt PAL games. The load times are fractionally slower but not really noticable.

How long have you been using this way and do you think my original games would still work? Also what if a new original game updates the system have you heard of any problems that might come up? I've been out of the wii scene for so long and now that i've come back i can't believe there is a soft mod way to play my wii game back ups! Thanks again for your help!

1. I have only been using this method about 2 weeks
2. I haven't heard of any problems with an update but i suggest you stay away from them

Well, as promised, i had a look around the web and found that sometimes you need to format the SD card in a *special* way. For windows, use The Official SD Card Formater

Yes, this also seems to solve many other peoples problems, it seems to depend on the size and brand of SD card you use

Only got two games to work so far:
SW: The Force Unleashed
Super Paper Mario
Super Mario Galaxy - will need the save file as it crashes after first cutscene in game (known issue)
Game that haven't worked:
Game Party - green screen
NHL 2K9 - Error!
Mario Kart - Error!
Big Brain Academy - gSoD (NTSC and w/ PAL patch)
All NTSC. How do I go about getting SSBB to work? Can I just use a dl-disc?

Hi there,
Does anyone know if this Zelda Hack works for all wii's?
I read somewhere that this only works for certain versions of the wii.
Cheers,
Plout

Hey Scott, I just wanted to backup one of my WII games to iso but my dvd-drive can't even read the wii disc. Is there any way I can use my Samsung 20x sata dvd drive to copy?
