Have you remade the write up for wiigator yet, i have just tried your original version on 2 iso's, one worked but choppy, the other i get the 4100 error, both were on the same, but cheap dvd-r's

There is an updated version guide that shows you how to install the WiiGator Gamma 0.3 version. It is stickied in the Ultimate Sticky Thread.

Yes you must downgrade to 3.2
You do not have to downgrade to 3.2 firmware.
You probably have the OCT 23rd 3.3 update which blocks WAD/cIOS files from being installed.
Go HERE for an updated guide on installing the WiiGator Backup Launcher (make sure you go to the linked guide in red to fix the OCT 23rd 3.3 limitation).
