hi,i have a very temperemental modded 360 at the mo,90%of the time it gives me the open tray message after an original or backup is inserted.adjusting the pot is far to difficult for my hoof hands but 'the rubber band trick 'seems possible.does this work as from what i've read it seems to ?

Wouldn't go down that road... but check that the tray is actually closing fully.

If this is only on burns then you need to look at your burner/disks rather than your 360.

it has the same degree of success loading the originals as well as the backups!all backups have all previously worked fine until about 2 weeks ago ,so not the burning process.

i have a 360 in my sons room that i did rubberband trick to over a year ago, before i would have to eject the game over and over to get it to read, after i did the ruberband thingy it has not failed once.
alot of people dont believe it works but like that monkeys song title "im a believer".

does this trick work on a phillips drive or just a samsung? mines a phillips and tried with no success.
