I bought my Wii in Canada and I brought it back to China with me. Now when I'm playing online games ie Mario Kart it shows that my location is in Canada and most of the players that i'm playing with are either American or Canadian. I tried changing my location in the system menu but it only gives me the choice between 20 or so countries. Is there a way I can change this? also is this affecting my online gaming? much appreciative for a reply

Do you have the homebrew channel installed as there is a useful application called AnyRegion Changer, which can change the region of your Wii!
