Ive had my Dualshock 3 for about 9 months. I got in on eBay from Asia.

Ive never had any problems with it before. Today, I unplugged the USB cable thinking my controller was charged but it doesnt work. However it does work when i plug it back into the USB cable. It doesnt work when it is not connected. I leave it charged for about 2-3 hours and it still doesnt work when unplugged.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Will the lights flash at all is you hit the PS button when its unplugged?

If it doesn't I'd have to say your battery is shot.

If it will flash I had a similar problem that resulted from the wireless dongle buzz time triva uses. It took a half an hour of frustration and trying different things in combination to get it to work again.

The lights didnt flash at all. However it does work now. I just left it for a while and went back to it and it worked. Hopefully it doesnt return. Thanks anyway.
