Hey there,

Im a pretty big noob when it comes to the psp, I was just recently thinking of getting one when I heard about the psp 3000 coming out, im pretty keen to get my hands on a psp just to play a bit of final fantasy (psx) on the go..
I have a ps3 and official psx FF games, so I guess my question would be if i need a modded psp or if it is just the recent firmware that allows the psx games to be played?

This question is needed as i would like to know if buying the psp 3000 is worth it if it cant do what i want?

By the way, remote play isnt really an option as there is little chance of an internet connection when i want to play, thanks guys.
