Hi i have had my xbox for around 6 months and its been working perfectly i flashed my drive probably a week after i bought it and its all worked perfect until now. Its still playing games and runing and loading textures etc perfectly. However if i turn my xbox on with a disc already in the drive it crashes on the intial xbox 360 screen for a while then when the desktop loads it says unreadable disc but if i take the disc out turn off and turn on works fine. Does this mean im about to get problems with my xbox if so any solutions would be helpful thank you

Hard to say. Change your settings to "Boot to Dashboard" instead of "Boot to Disc".

as long as you haven't deleted any of the files on the usb drive, in one of the folders, it WILL have your original.

if you can live with it, and don't want to spend the money for a new drive, then don't buy one. I would think it is just a matter of preference for you.

if you are just swapping a benq for a benq, all you should have to do is take out your dvd-drives mobo and swap it with the new one. im pretty sure there is only one model of benq drives out there.
