i need help downgrading my psp slim with OFW4.05 but it came with 3.95 its the new slim metallic blue which i got in japan before it came out anywhere else. I have the pandoras battery but sadly i can't get in contact with another psp slim/phat because my friends dont play psp. So i was wondering if there is a guide to downgrading the psp slim. I've tried alot of guides before but when i try to open pandora installer on my psp slim it says game wont start error. So if anyone out there could post a link about this issue ill be really appreciated to you.

To downgrade (and get a custom firmware) or unbrick your PSP, you need the Pandora's Battery. There is three ways to get the Pandora Battery. You will also need to make the Magic Memory Card.

1. Find a someone who has a Custom Firmware that is willing to let you borrow their psp. You will use their psp to softmod the battery. Meaning using software to make the Pandora. If you willing to do this, follow this guide:

2. Hardmod the battery. Meaning that you have to open that battery up, and pulling out a pin. Note that if you pull the wrong one, your battery would be messed. If you are willing to do this, follow this guide

3. The most safest way, is to buy a premade pandora battery from the internet (use google or ebay).If so, follow this guide or use the same guide on the second step. I recommend buying from DealExtreme for $10.

NOTE : TA-088 motherboards - Sony has just made new motherboards that stops the usuage of Pandora. Follow this GUIDE

thanks for the help dude. i put 4.01 m33-2 on my psp slim now and it works but was just wondering if i should leave this version of CFW on my psp slim or put an older version or is it the same thing?
