Can anybody suggest a software program that would burn mpeg SVCD ready files directly to disc.I would prefer one that would allow me to play the disc in a standard DVD player. No muss,no fuss, just click and burn. And please no bin and cues. Thanks

I use Nero for creating SVCD's. Once you open Nero, select the SVCD template and drop your mpg into the compilation and burn.

Well, the easy answer is yes. However, you'll have to de-mux the audio and change it to 48KHz (since VCD/SVCD is 44.1 KHz).

After you're done with that, just use a DVD authoring proggy and that's it! (Assuming your stand-alone can play it.)
