I have a xbox 360 and i want to backup all my games and play them on my xbox.
Now i hear i need to patch the drive, is this correct!
If so where do i get the patching software from, to enable me to patch the drive.
I had to strip the console down the other day as it had the ring of death, infac it had three rings on the display, but thanks to utube i found a guy on there showing me that i could fix this myself of which i did, by removing the heat sink & fitting one i bought from e-bay, that screws down on the processor.

The reason for not helping you one on one is because if every new person to this site posted a help me do my first modd thread this place would be flooded. Thats why the great members of the 360 forums took time and effort out of their *busy lives* to write very detailed guides for people like yourself in need of guidance. Now if after trying the methods described in the guides you are still having problems then thats when you post a thread asking for help with a specific problem. This will keep the site clean and allow us to be able to help you in a faster fashion. Good Luck and Happy Modding

This is probably the best response I've ever read to this type of question. I think it would be pretty kick ass if there was a button on the editor that would auto-fill in this response whenever it was needed.
