Hey, I'm new here, but Ive been visiting this forum for days, probably 2 weeks, the people here seem really cool so I decided to join here. Ok straight to business.

I have done lots of research (5 months) on how to downgrade and stuff, I've learned everything there is to know about Pandora battery and MMS so i wont ask "How do I downgrade"...because I know.

My situation is that; I have my pandora battery (which I know works because the psp's light turns green with a black screen) and I have a MMS prepared (also if you need to know I have a slim psp which was v3.95 and I upgraded to 4.05, psp 2003 model)...
But when i put my mem stick in and Pandora batt, nothing happens, I get the "Green light/black screen" problem.

Ok, so now I am thinking (but not sure) that it might be my 1GB Sony memory stick pro duo, do you think so?
should i get a new one like Sandisk or something? all the files are in my memstick, but it doesnt get booted by the pandora.

First off,how did you create your MMS and Pandora?Did you use Universal Unbricker V3,DC7,UPMS?Also,if you had done everything correctly, which I'm assuming, then it could be your motherboard.I think your model of the Slim PSP has the TA-088 v3 motherboard, which can't be hacked at the current time, thus giving the brick screen which is green light/black screen.Other than than,I don't have the slightest clue.

PSP #1:Fat,3.71 M33-4 CFW with 1.50-2 kernal add-on.
PSP #2:Slim,3.71 M33-4 CFW

ok, mabye I dont know everything about it... but I will say how I did this...

First I used "23522_RainMMSFull" which puts the files directly into the psp mem stick (I think its similar to an easyinstaller)...
Then I opened my battery and cut a coppery wirey thingy by the number 19 (this pandora'ed the battery)...

I put in the MMS (or atleast what I believe to be the MMS) and then the Pandora battery and hold L (before it turns on), but nothing happens, mabye I'm missing something here

About the battery,I'm not too sure.I've never hardmodded a battery so I can't say,but for the MMS,when you ran "23522_RainMMSFull" what was the actual name on the program?

You can have either TA-088 v1 or v2. Both can downgraded. You can downgrade it with DC 7. you need custom firmware

If you got the newer version of RainMS. Then yes, it work on the slim.

To make DC 7, you need a custom fimrware psp first. Find a friend. You can not DC7 without another custom firmware.
