Hi folks,

a friend has already tried to unlock this unit at least once but maybe twice and failed. I didnt look at what he was doing so dont know what he tried.

Model: Nokia 1600
Type: RH-64
IMEI: 356446017041463
Country: UK
Provider locked to: Vodaphone

thanks very much for that! I have a few questions though. First is: how do I put the code into the phone! A link to somewhere telling me where to put it in is appreciated.

And also when looking around I found this

Which says it is impossible to unlock 1600's. I ask this not because I distrust your advice but because I have read somewhere that one only gets a few goes before a phone becomes hard locked and my friend already tried with this one at least once.....

Nokia 1600 RH-65----impossible to unlock that model that is not you case. you can try 3 times. after that is hardlocked.
