my 360 has been flashed for about a year and has played copies fine up 2 now but now it is crashing just after it loads any ideas,many thanks its verbatim discs i use and they work in 3 of my mates computers
I have this exact problem, i have cleaned the laser as i thought but still it either freezes very early on starting a copy or comes up saying unplayable disc'

some of the disc say unreadable and some just crash my warranty only cover red lights and ideas how to fix the lasers,no sure what speed it was flashed i put it in a shop, may thanks for your help guys
stick a new laser in it dirt cheap on ebay ....loads of help out there to do it ....done mine twice now in 18 months 7 pound with delivery just throw it away and replace with a new one
yeah just go with ^^^ that suggestion. Laser is most likely the cause of the issue. Are you using good media (only verbs)? Because if not, it would be straining the laser, and you could almost say with certianty that it is the laser.
use google i think i used a site called llama its a sinch like i said earlier do not be scared and get in there...once u have the box open its 4 screws to open the drive and 3 screws to change the laser
