Hello. Just joined up recently and now have a bit of a question I'd like to impose on ya'll. I have just purchased a Psp (ver. 2.82) from my local Gamestop as well as a used (and unpatched) version of Lumines. I have since downloaded the exploit but have yet to try it. My question is this; is there any other software I'll need after performing this exploit to be able to play my emulators and whatnot? I apologize if this has been asked and answered before and will quietly return to the shadows if such is the case. I appreciate any and all advice and thank you for reading this topic. (Please pardon my formatting, I am typing from my phone)

Use the Lumines exploit get to the firmware 1.50. After, upgrade to a custom firmware - 4.01 M33

Thanks for replying mr gooey, but I seem to have hit a bit of a roadblock now. I tried out and ran the exploit (worked fine), but it did not seem to do anything besides play the funky Hello World app. I apologize for my naivete, but is there any step I'm missing at this point to bring me down to 1.5? Sorry for being difficult and thanks for the help thus far.

Much obliged mrgooey! Thanks to that above guide, I should be able to downgrade my Psp no problem now. I have no idea when I'll next be able to hop online to download the files (my phone can go online, but lacks the ability to download files), but I will keep in touch with how things work out on my end in the near future. Are you at all opposed to me sending you PMs or contacting you via an IM client in case of further assistance or references?
