So who do you think will come out on top and put the other to shame? Because they both come out in the same month and people will most likely choose one or the other

Well as of now way more people play cod4 so idk. I personaly think gears blows. So id have to say COD 5

I am going to have to go with Gears,I think it will be the next Halo as Far as Sells not Gameplay.

I really don't think one will put the other to shame. They will both probably be fairly good games. However, I really don't think COD5 will be able to be better than COD4. I think gears 2 will just be an awesome game. So if you had to pick one, definitely gears.

Eh I have never been a fan of Gears I thought the online was pure crap. The Story was I must say one of the best Co-ops I have ever played on a next gen system tho. So I am looking forward to seeing what that is like, but on the other hand floods of Cod 4 followers will be all over Cod 5 and belive me there are many of them. Now I dont think its gona be the next halo tho because with Halo that game was liked by everyone from the get go regaurdless of how crappy it was. The same doesnt hold true with gears. I knew alot of guys on Cod 4 that played both Cod 4 and Halo. Very few played both Cod 4 and Gears. And as far as what guessswho said he makes a pretty good point I really dont see Cod 5 being better than 4. I mean the whole modern warfar was a great change from the old school Cod which is why I belive it had such great success and to then take this new found group of followers back to the old school? Its gona take one hell of a game is all I gota say about it.
