Im open for any suggestions that you guys may have. This is my first build, but as far as im concerned, all of these parts should be compatible with each other and vista..

correct me if im wrong. but your getting a p35 mobo with a p45 cpu, it doesnt seem like those 2 go together

I think the Mobo and the CPU are compatible with each other. The CPU isn't P45, it's 45nm, the size i think..

the cpu and motherboard are compatable. p45 refers to the chipset not the cpu. you would probably get better overclocking on a p45. i have the board you listed and i am stuck at a 400mhz fsb. there is also i good deal for a psu right now. it is cheaper and more powerful. i would get it before the price goes back up.
