I have a copy of a wii game in iso format but when I try to burn it to a DVD my pc says that there is not enough room on the disk. The iso is the correct size but my dvd says there is only 4.37gb free space.

Best go with Verbatim or Sony burn using IMGburn
And also make sure that the game your burnning is not 8 GB as SSBB

yeah, I would definitely recommend verbatis. That is the only type of media I will burn my backups on. Also, maybe give clonecd a shot. That program works great also.

Im more concerned about the size message than the media. So far the only ISO that's DL is the SSBB right?

Ive used Imgburn now and I dont that message anymore allthough i think there may be a problem with the file as i get an error part way through the burn. Something to do with the I/O

The I/O message used to get displayed when my DVD writer was about to die, but it also displays when there is a medium failure or windows media player playing. So posting some snapshots of ur errors might help us give a better answer.

Um... barry89? Why are you ressurecting a very old thread that had nothing at all to do with your problem? I would say to start a new thread but your question has been covered so many times that we really don't need another one on the topic.

So I'll just wrap this up here. You downloaded a game from a different region than your wii. You can either redownload and reburn it from the proper region, or (if you're using a modchip) you can install homebrew channel and gecko OS to force it to display in the proper format, or if you're using the backup loader just use that to make it display in the proper format. PAL or NTSC, whatever matches your TV.

You burned a game from a different region. You should used the search before you post question. Read along. Your Wii is NTSC (US) playing PAL (EU) or the other way around.
