first of all, it's against the rules I believe to bump, either that, or I have no idea why you just quoted yourself...

As for your power brick, you might just need to get a new one. I tried searching (which hopefully you did also) and you should also know that most people end up having to purchase another one either from microsoft or off of ebay.

Unless anyone else on here has experience fixing them, which hopefully they would respond, you will probably have to end up buying another unfortunately.

Might want to see if your breaker is tripped. Otherwise you might have a bad outlet. Does anything else plugged into the outlet work?

XBOX Halo Ed. = DuoX2 w/250gb HD
Xbox 360 Red Elite 120GB HDD = no-stealth 1.6 & XBReboot V3 & 1TB usb hdd
PS2 Slim = freemcboot v1.8 - PSP Black Slim = 5.00m33-6
Wii = w/ Blue XCM ii-case, Wiikey2 & softmodded

I couldnt understand much of that but if it works then it works. There isnt a speciale way to put the cord other than the way the sockets fit. And if the problem continues later do the M$ thing.

I think MS only has a warranty on the power adapter for 3 months after you bought the console, and then they make you buy a new one. Let us know if that's true... and what happens

gggrrr... having the same problem as the first post..plugged in multiple power bricks, in different sockets(and not into a surge protector)..and still got the red light from the brick..it's fine before i plug it into the 360..starts off with the orange light, but boom..as soon as i plug it into the 360, red light..looks like it's something to do with the console..was wondering if anyone, knew which piece might be the problem..it's not under warranty anymore :(
have googled around, but all i can find is the power brick is bad..but i doubt 3 power bricks would go bad one after the other..thanks in advance..
