unreadable Fallout 3 disc

I have a benq flashed with 1.4 iextreme FW. 360 plays all the burned games so far. 6 in all. I use Clone CD to burn to dvd+r dl (Ritek brand). I burn at 1x speed. I have tried the fallout 3 disc over and over and I still get unreadable. Could this be just a bad media issue or did I burn it to slow. Also my 360 benq drive is flashed at 12x. I just ordered some verbatim discs yesterday because I hear they are the best. Any suggestions as to what the problem may be? Thanks for the help!

It might be the media. Does Fallout 3 pass the stealh checks on XBC and you might wana try 2.4x

yes it passes the stealth checks on xbc and mulleter. Ill try 2.4 when i get my verbatim discs. thanks!

= crap media and too slow = killing your laser on purpose = "Unreadable Disc" error

cool...thanks...so I should burn at 2.4x or 4x? I hear some people have good results with 4x. Also am I ok using Clone Cd or should I use IMGburn? Thanks ya'll!

I always burn on Verbs at 4x. And I use CCD. I've never had 1 coaster yet. But using those Ri's... it's hard to say whether they like 4x or not. But yeah, either 2.4 or 4x.

i had the same problem. Burned at 2.4x and unreadable disc. Burned at 8x and worked first time and never had a problem with any game burned at 8x since hope this helps.

yo jamsie...what drive do you have in your 360? and what FW is it flashed with? also what speed did you flash it at? Thanks!

I am having the same problem and i tried all of your methods and it will play but when trying to exit the vault, the loading screen freezes. any idea on what is wrong?
